WVC Art Program

Having moved to new facilities in the Music and Art Center (MAC), the art department at Wenatchee Valley College continues to strengthen and grow, with a vision of developing into a solid and comprehensive art program with extensive offerings in 2- and 3-dimensional fine arts as well as graphic design and digital media.

The department currently offers a wide variety of credit classes, including introduction to art, design (color, 2D and 3D composition), drawing, ceramics, art history (ancient through modern),  printmaking (calligraphic, intaglio, monotype, relief, plate lithography), painting and graphic design. Special topics and independent study courses are also available in a variety of disciplines.

WVC art students on the Wenatchee campus may join the Student Arts Association, which conducts activities such as artist's lectures and workshops, field trips and art sales.

Robert Graves Gallery, a nonprofit, community-supported public art gallery offers professional art exhibitions by local, regional, and national artists.  The gallery is located in Sexton Hall on the Wenatchee campus is free and open to the public on weekdays.
