News Release

 

Coach Wright would like announce the Letter of Intent signees for the 2007 season.

 

Brittany Jensen   Ephrata High School

 

Brittany is a four year player for Ephrata High School. Her speed at sweeper for the Tigers was a key to their tough defense. Brittany was a CWAC 1st Team Honoree.

While at Wenatchee Valley College she will focus her area of study in Business and Art.

 

“With her sprinter sped Brittany will be a huge asset to our defense, as well as being a great tackler”

 

Selina Longoria  Quincy High School

 

An all around great athlete Selina has chosen to focus on soccer in her collegiate career.

 

“Selina was all over the field as a player for Quincy, her tenacity on the pitch was second to none.” “She will be a great spark of energy for Wenatchee Valley.” Selina’s career Goals are to work toward a nursing degree. She was CWAC 2nd Team (11th & 12th grade).

 

Katie Duncan  Okanogan High School

 

Katie earned 1st team Caribou Trail League honors as a starting midfielder. She helped her team make and play deep into the playoffs. “Katie’s vision of the field and aggressive nature on the pitch will have an immediate impact for us”. Her plans are to work toward an area of study in recreation and leadership.

 

Stesha Ricard   Moses Lake High School

 

Stesha’s No Holds Barr attitude on the pitch was what drew Coach Wright to Stesha. “Stesha will sacrifice her body to make a play without regards for herself” “As a defender Stesha will give as an immediate stronger backline”. She plans on a career in the Medical field after college.

 

Rosa Vargas  Okanogan High School

 

2006 MVP of the Caribou Trail league. “Rosa will give us another scoring threat up” front. Both a basketball and soccer star for Okanogan her athletic ability will be a handful for opposing defenders. Rosa’s goals are to work toward a nursing degree.
