Hillary Pulse selected as NWAACC East Region All-Star
Knights volleyball player Hillary Pulse was selected by the NWAACC Eastern Region coaches as an East Region Second Team All-Star and Sophomore All-Star. She finished the season as the number two hitter in the East Region.
In addition, Pulse has been named to the NWAACC All Academic Sports Team for fall quarter 2011. To be eligible for the All Academic Sports Team, players must be a sophomore with a minimum of 36 credits earned, a 3.25 cumulative GPA, and be recommended by their college.
One-day mini volleyball clinic for elementary and middle school students on Sunday, May 22, 2011
The WVC Knights will offer a one-day mini volleyball clinic to elementary and middle school students on Sunday, May 22, from 1-6 p.m. in Smith Gym on the WVC-Wenatchee campus.
The clinic will be taught by the Knight volleyball coaching staff and 2010-11 team. Topics include fundamentals of serving, passing, setting, court awareness and team work. The clinic will end in games with coaching feedback. Cost is $50 per person and includes a Knights t-shirt.
Participants are encouraged to bring a snack and water bottle. Parents are welcome.

Knights volleyball calendars available
Knights volleyball calendars are available for $20 each. The calendars feature photos of each team player (ten total) and two team photos. Calendars can be purchased by contacting Kelsey Jones at kjones@wvc.edu or call 509.682.6862. Funds will help support the Knights volleyball trip to Nicaragua in March, where they will work with local community shelters and play Nicaraguan National Program teams.
Black and Silver Volleyball Camp 2011
Knights Volleyball will host four days of instruction and competition from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., August 8-11, 2011, at Smith Gym on the Wenatchee Valley College campus.
