This spring has been an exciting time for the Lady Knights, as recruiting has been in full swing. Among the prospects expected to join the Knights for the 2008-2009 season are Karissa Lehn, a 6'3" post player from Republic, WA. Karissa will be a true inside post player that should help us against other teams with dominant post play. Another player to join the Knights is Tashia Zamorron from Quincy High School. Tashia is a point guard who can score and create for others. Kristen Wyatt come the Knights from 2A runner-up Ellensburg High. Kristen is a speedy wing that also possesses an outside shooting touch that will make our up-tempo offense more effective. Andrea Schutt joins us from Sunnyside Christian High School with state tournament experience and a shot hard to find in 6'1" players. We also have local talent from Wenatchee High School, Victoria Monreal and Kami Knouf. The duo will add experience from a 4A squad and will extend our depth. In addition we have several other players from North Central Washington we are looking to in order to round out our roster. With the incoming freshman and experience from our returning players we expect to be stronger and more competitive than ever.
