Telecourses - $11.80 to $33.80 course license/tape rental fee per course. See the Distance Learning Course Schedule for specific fee amounts.

Online Courses - $8.00 per credit ($40 for a five credit class) This fee applies to both WVC Online and WashingtonOnline classes.

Tuition

Distance Learning classes through WVC use the same tuition schedule as other classes taught on campus, though WashingtonOnline (section code WO) classes are charged at a self-support rate.  See note below.

Note on tuition for WashingtonOnline classes:

At WVC, WashingtonOnline (section code WO) classes are considered self-supporting. This means the tuition for a Washington Online course will be $74.30 per credit (Washington resident rate for 07-08), or $371.50 for a five credit class, regardless of the number of credits you take. In other words, there is no reduction in per credit tuition if you take over 10 credits as with other WVC classes.

Example:
16 credits, no WashingtonOnline (section WO) classes:  Tuition = $921.80 (07-08 rates)

16 credits, of which 5 credits are WashingtonOnline (section WO):  Tuition = $1,144.30
(11 credits for $772.80 + $371.50 for WashingtonOnline class)
