Energy Technology
Energy Technology is a one-year certificate program designed for individuals planning a career in the power generation industry. Students will receive instruction in the safe operation of electrical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, steam plant systems, and the components used in the generation, distribution and transmission of electricity.
The program is designed to help graduates of this program be more competitive in gaining entry into a utilities apprenticeship program. Most careers in the energy industry require apprenticeship training.
