The Wenatchee Valley College Financial Aid Office assists students in the process of applying for financial aid and finding ways to meet educational expenses. Financial aid is designed to assist students and/or their parents in paying basic educational costs for eligible certificate and degree programs. All of the financial aid programs at Wenatchee Valley College are administered in accordance with established state and federal regulations and policies. At the core of these policies is the belief that financing a student's education is the primary responsibility of the student and his/her family. However, there are multiple resources students can access to pay for college.WVC offers grants, loans, scholarships and work-study to eligible students.
The basic formula for determining financial need for grant funds and work-study is:
COA - EFC = Financial Need
Cost of Attendance (COA) Minus (-) Expected Family Contribution (EFC) Equals (=) Financial Need
Even students who do not demonstrate financial need for grants and work-study may still qualify for a student loan.
