Veterans Programs
Selected academic programs of study at Wenatchee Valley College are approved by the Higher Education Coordinating Board’s State Approving Agency (HECB/SAA) for enrollment of those eligible to receive benefits under Title 38 and Title 10, U.S. Code. Wenatchee Valley College is currently approved to authorize veteran benefit programs for most of our degree and certificate programs. WVC programs are approved for benefits under the following Veterans Administration regulations: Chapter 31 (Vocational Rehabilitation), 33 (Post 911 GI Bill), 30 (Montgomery Bill), 32 (VEAP), 35 (Survivors and Dependents Educational Assistance),1606 (Reserves) of Title 38, U.S. Code and 1607 (REAP).
Students who plan to use their veteran’s benefits are required to contact the WVC Veterans Office located in Wenatchi Hall. Veterans who have not previously used their benefits must complete an Application for Education Benefits (VA Form 22-1990) and furnish a copy of their DD Form 214 member 4. If you have received V.A. Education Benefits at another educational institution or wish to change your education program, you will submit VA Form 22-1995, Request for Change of Program or Place of Training. Dependents of Veterans will submit VA Form 22-5495, Application of Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance. Forms are available upon request. Please refer to the WVC Veteran Educational Benefits Handbook below for more detailed information regarding using benefits at WVC, veteran tuition waivers and military gift credits or contact the WVC veterans office.
