 Veteran Programs

Selected academic programs of study at Wenatchee Valley College are approved for VA Education Benefits under Title 38 and Title 10, U.S. Code. WVC programs are approved for benefits under the following Veterans Administration regulations:

CH33 Post 9/11 GIBill

CH33 Post 9/11 GIBill Transfer of Entitlement to Dependents (TEB)

CH30 Montgomery GIBill – Active Duty (MGIB-AD)

CH1606 Montgomery GIBill – Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR)

CH1607 Reserve Educational Assistance Program (REAP)

CH32 Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP)

CH35 Survivors and Dependents Educational Assistance Program (DEA)

National Call to Service Program

Veterans Retraining Assistance Program (VRAP)

CH31 Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Program (VR&E)

Please refer to the WVC Veteran Educational Benefits Handbook below for information on how to apply for education benefits. The handbook also explains how to use benefits at WVC, and how to apply for veteran tuition waivers, military tuition assistance and military gift credits.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office at (509) 682-6817.  We are here to assist you in securing your Veteran Educational Benefits as well as providing any additional support you may need to be successful at Wenatchee Valley College.  In an effort to serve you, please submit required paperwork in a timely manner.  For additional information regarding veteran's benefits you may contact the VA at 1-888-442-4551 or visit the VA Web site at www.gibill.va.gov

The WVC Veterans Office is located in Wenatchi Hall Room 2136 at the end of the Testing Center hallway.

Tony Sandoval, USArmy veteran and Vetcorps Representative, is available to assist WVC Veterans and Dependents with VA education benefits as well as school and community resources.  Tony is located in the WVC Veteran Office, Wenatchi Hall and can be reached at 509-682-6817.
