PCOL 110 3 credits Pharmacology in Nursing Using a body systems approach, this course explores pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics and pharmacotherapeutics of agents used in treating clinical conditions. The nurse’s legal scope of practice related to administration and monitoring of medications will be highlighted. Special considerations of drug administration for pediatric and aged clients will be presented. Prerequisites: concurrent enrollment in NURS 104 or instructor’s signature.
