Welcome interested Running Start students and parents!
Running Start allows high school juniors and seniors to enroll in high school and community college at the same time, earning credits that apply towards both high school graduation and college. If Running Start students choose to attend WVC full time both their junior and senior years, they may be able to graduate with a general 2-year degree such as the Associate of Arts and Sciences – DTA. This requires careful planning on the student's part from the beginning of their time in Running Start.
Alert: Due to the Fire and Smoke conditions from the Okanogan Complex, the Omak campus College 101 event has been canceled. WVC Running Start has temporarily released this brief video that covers the supplemental information that would have been given at the event.
