Wenatchee Valley College and most of the high schools within Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan Counties have examined their CTE programs and established "Programs of Study" joining the high school programs to the college programs. They have also determined that certain high school classes in those programs meet the requirements of comparable college courses. Through the Tech Prep program, articulation has been arranged between those classes so that students can receive both high school credit and Wenatchee Valley College credit at the same time.
Tech Prep has many advantages for students:
College credit at a minimal cost. Average savings are over $400.00 per class.
Earn credits for high school and college at the same time.
Remain in high school. No need to attend the college to receive these credits.
Advance placement in college professional/technical programs.

Just follow these simple steps and you are on your way to Tech Prep credit.
Enroll in college Tech Prep classes offered at your high school or skills center and earn a grade of “B” or better. Find a list of choices at your school in the left frame of this page.
Register for your Tech Prep credits through the online registration system at SERS.techprepwa.orgthe same school year in which you finish the class/es required by the articulation agreement. (Instructions can be found using the link "Student Registration" in the left-side menu of this page.)
Return the resulting registration form with a one-time non-refundable $15.00 fee to the Tech Prep office listed below.
Receive Wenatchee Valley College credits. The credits appear on the WVC transcript at the end of the college quarter. Contact the WVC Registrar's Office to obtain a copy.
