Wenatchee Valley College
(WVC) offers most courses required for an AAS transfer degree
through distance learning. Distance courses provide the same course
content, appear on your transcript, transfer and apply toward
your degree just as regular courses.
As
a student taking distance courses, you will find that most of
your instructors and classmates come from WVC and other Washington
community colleges.
For
a schedule of quarterly offerings, refer to the WVC
home page or
the WAOL/VC Web site.
Online Courses
Online courses are offered through WVC and the WashingtonOnline
Virtual Campus (WAOL), a cooperative venture of the Washington
state community colleges. (See the FAQs (Frequently Asked
Questions) link on the home page for information on how online
courses work.) |

Telecourses/Teleweb
Telecourses combine lessons on VHS videotape with independent
work in textbooks and study guides. Some telecourses require
a limited number of on-campus meetings and others (teleweb)
use the Internet to deliver a portion of the course materials
and for classroom discussion. |
