Picking up your check
Financial aid checks are available no sooner than the first day that campus courses begin. (Consult the calendar for dates.)

Financial hardship
You are responsible for purchasing your own books and supplies until grant checks are available. However, if you will not have the funds to cover course materials until your financial aid check arrives, please contact the financial aid office (at least two weeks prior to the start of your WAOL course) in order to discuss other options. Obviously you will be most successful with your course work if you have the materials you need, right from the start. Let the financial aid staff help you find a way to make that possible.

Grades & financial aid status
Because the WAOL course schedule is different from the on-campus course schedule, WAOL grades are usually available later than grades for on-campus courses. This may temporarily affect your financial aid status. Please contact the financial aid office if you have questions.
