Free comedy and music at the Omak PAC on March 6--Okanogan Counts!
The U.S Census, WorkSource Okanogan and Wenatchee Valley College will host Okanogan County Counts!, a free event on March 6 with comedy and music to celebrate the richness of the county’s culture and to raise awareness of the importance of the census count.
The multicultural event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Omak Performing Arts Center on Cedar Street in Omak and will feature comedian Vaughn Eaglebear, the mariachi band Estrella de Mexico, and country music performers Good 4 U, Lonnie and Teresa Good and Kayla Good.
Eaglebear and Teresa Good are both former Wenatchee Valley College students. Eaglebear has performed in shows throughout the country, including an appearance on Showtime’s comedy special, Goin’ Native: American Indian Comedy Slam! on New Year’s Eve.
