22nd Annual United Pow Wow in Omak set for April 8, 2011
Native American drummers and dancers will gather on Friday, April 8, for the 22nd Annual United Pow Wow, in conjunction with the Northwest Indian Youth Conference, at the Omak Tribal Long House. The public is invited to the event.
The first grand entry will begin at 1 p.m. with dinner following at 5 p.m. Sonny Quinto will serve as master of ceremonies and Iron Boy will be the host drum. All drummers and dancers are welcome.
Admission to the event is free.
The drug- and alcohol-free event is sponsored by the Wenatchee Valley College at Omak Red Road Association, the Colville Tribes Omak TANF Youth Program, and the Omak School District.
