Benefits

No commute - WVC's Residence Hall sits directly across from the Wenatchee campus, at 1409 5th Street, and is within walking distance of classes, grocery stores, shopping areas, and downtown Wenatchee.

Typically cheaper than renting - Residence Hall fees are quarterly (approx. 3 months)

$1,950 + $60 technology fee = $2,010 which averages out to $670/month

  • All utilities are included - water, sewer, garbage/recycling, and internet.
  • A housing payment plan is available through the student account.

Safe environment - In addition to 24-hour security, the Residence Hall has on-call staff to respond to urgent needs 24 hours a day.

Broaden experiences - Living in a community environment brings many opportunities that off-campus living may not offer.

  • Residents learn to live and interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Develop better understanding and cooperation through negotiating their shared spaces.
  • Enjoy activities and events throughout the year such as BBQ's, contests, celebrations, etc., that only residents get to take part in.

New Resident Housing Application Form 2025-26

The Housing Application fee & deposit amounts will be applied to the student CTCLink accounts once the application has been received. Payment may be made online through the CTCLink portal or by calling the cashier department at: 509-682-6500.

Enrollment into classes is required prior to housing application submission.(must log into application with student credentials).

25-26 Current Resident Renewal

WVC students seeking student housing during the summer quarter must fill out the Summer Housing Contract Extension, which will be available beginning in the spring quarter.

Summer residents that plan to continue living in the hall for all or part of the following academic year must also submit the appropriate housing contract.

*The summer Housing Contract Extension is NOT required for athletes that must move in early for athletic requirements.

During the summer quarter WVC Residence Life allows students from other colleges or universities to reside in the Residence Hall.

Non-WVC students seeking summer housing in the WVC Residence Hall must have affiliation with a higher education institution and be seeking housing in connection with required course work.

  • Summer housing is first prioritized for WVC students that are either taking summer classes or remaining in the hall for the next academic year.
  • WVC partners with international schools to host summer programs whereby a portion of the WVC Residence Hall is reserved to house international students during their stay. 

Room Layout and Amenities

The Residence Hall is a single three-story building, laid out in a "pod" style. Each floor contains a Common Room consisting of a kitchen and lounge, which is shared by all residents housed on the floor.  Located at each corner are "pods" (4 pods per floor), which each contain three bedrooms, a shared bathroom, and washer/dryer.

Layout of Residence Hall

The hall has space for 75 residents, including 3 Resident Advisors (RAs). All floors may be co-ed but pods/rooms are gender-specific.

Bedrooms

Each bedroom is furnished to house 2 people.

No additional furniture is permitted to be brought in by residents. Limited exceptions may be granted, but only with prior approval.

Bedroom dimensions are approximately 12 ft x 14 ft.

Each bedroom contains 2 of the following (1 per resident):

  • Bed (Twin XL mattress)
  • Desks and chair
  • Wardrobe
  • Stacking drawers (3 per resident)

All bedroom windows have window blinds. Residents are permitted to hang curtains with a tension rod only!

Residents are responsible to bring their own sheets, towels, pillows, toiletries and other personal items. 

Roommates are assigned by Residence Life, however applicants can specify a preferred roommate on the housing application. Single rooms are not available.

Amenities

Residents are responsible for bringing their own phone and arranging phone service with a provider

  • Full-size fridge/freezer
  • Stove/oven
  • Microwave
  • Pizza oven
  • Air-Fryer

BYO (Bring your own...)

Residents should bring their own cookware, bakeware, and dinnerware

Due to limited kitchen space residents are not permitted to add to the kitchen appliances or leave personal appliances, cookware, bakeware, or dinnerware on countertops, tables, or stacked on top of other appliances.

All personal kitchen items must be labeled and stored in the cupboards or kept in the student room.

Lounges include: 

  • Casting-enabled television
  • Multiple full-size couches
  • Multiple lounge chairs
  • Coffee table/End tables
  • Computer station with printer
  • Foosball table, Multi-ActivityTable (dining/ping-pong/pool)

No additional furniture is permitted to be brought in by residents.

Located on the 1st floor is 2 vending machines, one with snacks, the other for beverages, which all residents may access.
