Medieval Mayhem Club hosts fifth annual Wenatchee Renaissance Faire at WVC

The fifth annual Wenatchee Renaissance Faire returns to Wenatchee Valley College on April 21 and 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the lawn of the Eller-Fox science building and in the Smith Gym on the Wenatchee campus. The faire includes events, activities, games, contests, entertainment, vendors, and food. The event is open to the public, and costumed participation is encouraged.

Admission is free for children five and under and for WVC students with current student ID cards. General admission for a one-day pass is $7 for adults and $5 for children.

The faire will begin with the opening of Merchants Row at 10 a.m. The entertainment portion of the faire begins at 11 a.m. on the lawn in front of the Eller-Fox science building and will feature singers, dancers, storytellers, musicians, a magician, a Shakespearean actor, and a fire breather. There are spinning demos, a blacksmith, and chainmail instruction. Other activities include face and shield painting, a maypole, battle tug, various games, a labyrinth, a quest, and historical displays.
