Knights baseball players named to NWAACC All-Star team

Three players on the Knight baseball team have been named to the 2011 Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges’ (NWAACC) All-Star team, and one to the NWAACC spring-quarter All-Academic team.

First baseman Michael Gordon was named to the All-Star first team. Shortstop Fernando Robles and designated hitter Cameron Markel were named to the All-Star second team.

Pitcher Adam Ranger was named to the All-Academic team with a GPA of 3.32. To be eligible for the NWAACC All-Academic team, players must be a sophomore with a minimum of 36 credits earned, a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA, and be recommended by their college.
