The community is invited to a Wenatchee Valley College at Omak Outreach Open House on Tuesday, Feb. 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event begins in Mary Henrie Friendship Hall.

The open house will feature learning presentations from cultural anthropology and biology courses, tours of the campus and club expo tables. Drop-in college classes will run from 1 to 3 p.m. Learn about how to pay for college with options such as financial aid, scholarships and student funding for workforce education.

Open house organizer and faculty member Julie Tate explained that the goal of the event is to increase campus visibility in the community as well as potential student enrollment.
