Knights players named to NWAACC All Academic Sports Teams

Eight players from the Wenatchee Valley College Knights fastpitch and baseball teams have been named to the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) All Academic Sports Team for spring quarter 2013.

Knights fastpitch players Hailey Bator of Cle Elum, Ramsie Burrington of Missoula, Mont., RaeAnna Dorcas of Everett, Alexandria Ellis of East Wenatchee, Madison Jones of Lolo, Mont. and Kirstie Thomas of Billings, Mont. were named to the All Academic Sports Team. Bator has a 3.55 GPA, Burrington a 3.70, Dorcas a 3.23, Ellis a 3.28, Jones a 3.82, and Thomas a 3.34.

Knights baseball players Kyler Blades of Whitefish, Mont. and Beau Kerns of Lewiston, Idaho were named to the All Academic Sports Team, Blades with a 3.54 GPA and Kerns with a 3.36 GPA.

In order to be named to the team, players must be a sophomore in eligibility, have earned a minimum of 36 credits, hold at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA and be recommended by their college.
