WVC rededicated Paul Thomas Sr. Baseball Stadium May 9
Wenatchee Valley College rededicated the Paul Thomas Sr. Baseball Stadium on May 9 at 12:40 p.m. During the brief ceremony, Dalton Thomas, president and owner of Oneonta Starr Ranch Growers and son of the late Paul Thomas Sr., was recognized for his donation of the extensive remodel project to revitalize the baseball stadium and grounds.
The current remodel project includes “new seating, new paint, new signage, even new dirt,” said Greg Franz, WVC athletic director.
Originally constructed in the early 1990’s, the stadium included seats recycled from the Kingdome. The stadium was named for Paul Thomas Sr., a strong supporter of WVC athletics and primary donor for the field.
The stadium remodel includes new seats and new signage.
