Please call 509.422.7803 or 509.422.7807 for more information or to schedule an appointment to take the placement test.
The placement test is used to determine placement in math and English courses. All degree-seeking students who have not taken college math or English classes need to take the placement test before registering for classes at WVC. Click here for information about signing up or to request a copy of your scores.
If you did not finish high school you can take the GED test. There are four tests, including Social Studies, Science, Language Arts and Math. Click here for information about signing up.
CASAS testing is available for students wanting to sign up for Adult Basic Education classes and English as a Second Language classes. The CASAS test is free and you can call 509.682.6790 for testing dates.
To sign up for an SAT or ACT test, contact your local high school counselor or visit http://www.collegeboard.com/splash for the SAT or http://www.act.org/for the ACT. WVC currently does not accept scores from either test for placement in WVC courses. For students who plan on attending other institutions that do require SAT/ACT scores, those tests are administered on the Wenatchee campus in the Eller-Fox Science Building.
Prospective nursing students must pass the TEAS in order to be eligible to apply to WVC's nursing program. Click here for information about signing up.
Proctored Tests for Other Schools
Because of limited space, the Testing Center can not proctor tests for students from other schools. Contact the proctor to arrange this type of testing (firstname.lastname@example.org).
