WVC faculty members featured in Crosscurrents journal

Scott Bailey, Jack Johnson, Derek Sheffield

Work by Wenatchee Valley College faculty members Scott Bailey, Jack Johnson and Derek Sheffield are featured in the 2009 edition of “Crosscurrents,” a publication of the Washington Community College Humanities Association.

Johnson’s poems “Cutting My Father” and “The Door” and Sheffield’s poems “American Poem” and “Not in Autumn” were selected for the publication. Johnson, who lives in Peshastin, and Sheffield, who lives in Leavenworth, both teach English at WVC.

Scott Bailey, who teaches art, is the featured visual artist of the issue.  His paintings adorn the inside front and back covers. Bailey lives in East Wenatchee.
