Janna Goodyear has taught developmental courses at WVC since 2015. She also serves as the WriteLab director. Prior to WVC, Janna worked at Central New Mexico Community College in Albuquerque as a developmental English and ABE instructor. She has a bachelor’s in English from North Carolina University and master’s in rhetoric and writing from the University of New Mexico.

In 2021, Janna and faculty members Rochelle Riling and Lynne Kottmeier were awarded the $1,500 Alcoa Excellence in Teaching Award for their Accelerated Pre-College English with Support Project.
