Students at WVC may choose from a variety of communications courses, each of which is five credits and may be applied to the humanities requirement for the associate of arts and sciences (AAS) degree. The courses are Introduction to Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Public Speaking, and Survey of Digital Communication.

Introduction to the history, theory and practice of human communication. Development of effective communication skills for use in a variety of contexts, including, but not limited to: intrapersonal, interpersonal, intercultural, small group, relationships, workplace/organizational settings and new technology.
