Scam Alert
Watch out for scholarship scams and fee-based services. Follow these guidelines:
- Never pay for scholarship lists or FAFSA help. Completing the free FAFSA automatically considers you for federal, state, and WVC aid.
- Ignore calls or letters requesting personal information (SID, SSN, bank accounts, FSA ID) about financial aid or loans. Neither WVC nor BankMobile will ever call you to request this information.
- Never share personal or banking details on unsolicited calls.
