Knight Men's Soccer
Season: Fifth Season
Osborn graduated from Washington State University with a degree in kinesiology/movement studies. He played for the WSU club team for three years. Prior to that, he attended WVC and played for the Knights for one year. A Wenatchee High School graduate, Osborn played defensive midfield/midfield soccer for the Highline Premier Football Club for four years. He is now focusing on his coaching career by seeking his Advanced National Diploma and Premier Diploma through the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Before becoming head coach, Osborn served as assistant coach to the Knights men's soccer team for the 2012-13 season.
Between 10 to 15 players will return to play for the Knights next season, and Osborn has begun recruiting for additional players. One of his goals includes attracting and retaining quality local student athletes to restore the program's rich heritage.
"One of my goals is trying to build a bridge between the college and youth/club soccer," he said. "We need to play a key part in the development of local athletes—running camps, clinics and academies—because these are our future potential WVC Knights."
To begin building that relationship, Osborn is working with his father, Mike Osborn, director of coaching for the Wenatchee Fire.
