Passport to College
Supporting Students. Building Futures. Transforming Lives.
At Wenatchee Valley College, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of the challenges they've faced.
The Passport to College Program provides personalized support, financial guidance, and connections to campus and community resources for students who have experienced foster care or unaccompanied homelessness. Our goal is to ensure every Passport student feels welcomed, supported, and empowered from enrollment through graduation.
Guided by Wenatchee Valley College's COILS values: Community, Opportunity, Inclusion, Learning, and Student-Centeredness, our Passport team walks alongside students every step of their educational journey.
What is Passport to College?
Passport to College is part of Washington State's Passport to Careers program administered through the Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC). The program helps eligible students pursue certificates and degrees by combining financial assistance with dedicated campus support. Eligible students may receive Passport scholarship funding, priority consideration for other state financial aid programs, and individualized guidance from Passport staff.
Our Commitment
At Wenatchee Valley College, Passport is more than a scholarship, it is a community.
We believe students thrive when they experience:
- meaningful relationships,
- consistent support,
- opportunities to lead,
- and a campus where they belong.
Our commitment is to help every Passport student persist, graduate, and confidently pursue their educational and career goals.
