Wenatchee Valley College Foundation spring events

The Wenatchee Valley College Foundation is presenting many different events this spring. Visit wvc.edu/SpringEvents for more information and to register.

  • March 1: Visiting Writers Winter Reading, 6 p.m., The Grove Recital Hall
    This event, co-sponsored by the WVC Foundation and English Department, is part of the new Community Appreciation Series. Writers are Sharma Shields and Matthew Sullivan.
  • March 23: Piatigorsky Concert, 6:30 p.m., The Grove Recital Hall
    This annual concert, also part of the new Community Appreciation Series, will feature solo guitarist Jack Sanders. The free public concert is sponsored by the Wilfred Woods family and the Piatigorsky Foundation.
  • March 28: Alumni Network presents Business After Hours, 5-7 p.m., WVC Music & Art Center
    This free networking event, presented in partnership with the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce, is focused on bringing together local business professionals and WVC alumni. It is open to the public.
  • April 7: WVC Open House, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wenatchee campus
    This campus-wide event is free and open to the public. There will be something for everyone, including family-friendly activities, demonstrations, lectures, tours, college information sessions, prizes and giveaways. The open house theme is "Your College, Your Campus."
  • May 10: Alumni Network presents Healthcare Mixer, 4:30-6 p.m., Wenatchee Red Lion Hotel
    This networking event will bring together local healthcare professionals and WVC alumni.
  • May 19: WVC Foundation Gala, 6 p.m., Wenatchee Convention Center
    A night for students, professors and the community to celebrate where we've been, where we are and where we're going. Join us for an unforgettable evening as we honor those that have made this a year to remember. Ticket and table details to come.

The WVC Foundation was incorporated in 1971. It exists to build relationships between the community and the college and raise financial support for Wenatchee Valley College students, programs, faculty and staff, as well as special projects such as building campaigns like the Music and Art Center.
