Join the Wenatchee Valley College Foundation for The Gala May 19

The Wenatchee Valley College Foundation will recognize alumni and community members at The Gala May 19. The theme of the gala this year is “Celebrating our heroes.” 

The gala is from 5-8 p.m. in Orchard Hall at the Wenatchee Convention Center. There will be a welcome reception featuring a silent auction and hors d’oeuvres beginning at 5 p.m. At 6 p.m., there will be the formal dinner and award presentations. 

For the first time, the foundation’s annual awards will be presented at the Wenatchee Valley College Foundation Gala. The Outstanding Friend of the College award will be presented to Peggy Ludwick, The Harvey Award will be presented to Earl Tilly and the Distinguished Alumni of the Year award will be presented to Malachi Salcido. In addition, four newly created “WVC Heroes” awards will be given to Dennis Conger, Diana Haglund, Wyatt Hurd and Ed Phinney.
