Occupation Exploration event at Chelan County PUD on Feb. 29

An Occupation Exploration event focused on Chelan County Public Utility District careers will take place on Thursday, Feb. 29, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Rocky Reach Dam Discovery Center. All participants must be 12 years of age or older to attend from any school and college.   

Space is limited, so registration for the event is required. Visit bit.ly/occupation-exploration to register.  

Participants will learn about how plant operators, mechanics, and wiremen work together to ensure consistent electricity generation at Chelan County PUD hydro projects, and about their daily operations responsibilities.   

Participants should wear long pants, sturdy shoes that cover the whole foot, and a shirt with sleeves.  

Snacks and refreshments will be provided at the event. 

Occupation Exploration is a series of career-connected immersion events hosted by local businesses for students in North Central Washington. This Occupation Exploration event is presented by North Central ESD, the Wenatchee Valley College Foundation, and Career Connect Washington.
