WVC Foundation hires Evey as executive director

Wenatchee Valley College Foundation is pleased to announce that Rachel Evey has been hired as the new executive director. She was named the executive director on April 8, after serving as the interim executive director since October 2018.

“I have all the confidence in the world that Rachel will lead the foundation to new heights and continue the important work of raising funds to support WVC and our students,” said WVC President Dr. Jim Richardson.

Evey was originally hired as the WVC Foundation alumni relations coordinator in July 2017. She is originally from Bakersfield Calif., where she worked as a manager of development and donor services at Kern Community Foundation. She previously worked as development and donor services coordinator and as foundation assistant for the community foundation. She received a bachelor’s degree in international relations and Italian at the University of California-Davis.
