The Jack and Edna Maguire Student Recreation Center (SRC) at Wenatchee Valley College has partnered with Riverfront Rock Gym to provide free day passes and gear rentals to all enrolled WVC students.

Students can make a reservation and fill out the necessary paperwork on the SRC Canvas page. They can access the page through their student Canvas account.

Gear rentals include shoes, harness and belay device (if certified). Students are allowed three visits per quarter and can bring one guest per visit (subject to availability). Each student must submit a reservation request online and are reserved on a first come, first served basis.

“Our number one priority at the Rec Center is giving students opportunities to stay active and healthy, even when our facilities are closed,” said Danny Zavala, SRC manager.

This year, SRC has partnered with Mission Ridge, Planet Fitness and Life Fitness to offer free memberships and day passes to students. Learn more at wvc.edu/StudentRec.
