WVC Foundation Hosts WVC Alumni Week: “Knights Unite” May 14–17

The Wenatchee Valley College Foundation invites alumni and friends to reconnect and celebrate their shared college experience during WVC Alumni Week, taking place May 14–17, 2025, at the Wenatchee and Omak campuses.

Centered around the theme “Knights Unite,” this multi-day celebration offers a series of free, engaging events that highlight community, creativity, and WVC pride. These events are made possible by the generous support of our presenting sponsor Microsoft, along with additional community sponsors.

“Alumni Week is a celebration of community, legacy, and the stories that begin at WVC,” said Lupe Brito, WVC Foundation development director. “We’re thrilled to welcome Knights back to campus with events that reflect the creativity, diversity, and spirit of our alumni.”

WVC Alumni Week features five unique events:

Snapshot Social
Wednesday, May 14 | 5:30–7:30 p.m. | Maguire Conference Center, Wenatchee Campus
An evening networking event where alumni can connect while enjoying light refreshments. Complimentary professional digital portraits will be available.

LITerary Knight
Thursday, May 15 | 6:00–8:00 p.m. | Music & Art Center (MAC), Wenatchee Campus
A celebration of the relaunch of Mirror Northwest, WVC’s student-led literary journal, featuring live readings by students and faculty from the WVC English department.

AlumKnight Block Party
Friday, May 16 | 3:00–6:00 p.m. | Omak Campus
A festive gathering for WVC’s north campus with activities for all ages, including cornhole, basketball, mini golf, crafts, and more.

Knight of the Stars
Friday, May 16 | 7:00–9:00 p.m. | Wells Hall Theater, Wenatchee Campus
An evening celebration hosted by WVC’s College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) and TRIO Student Support Services, offering a night of music and dancing.

Clash of the Cleats
Saturday, May 17 | 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. | Mike Hollis Field, Wenatchee Campus
WVC Athletics invites alum to participate in or cheer on a friendly soccer match, complete with refreshments and a spirited sideline atmosphere.
