The WVC Foundation is set to host its fourth annual Food Truck Knight Friday, Sept. 19 from 3-8 p.m. at Wenatchee Valley College, 1300 Fifth Street, Wenatchee. The event, presented by Numerica Credit Union, will include a variety of food trucks, live entertainment, activities, and more around the campus fountain.
“Numerica is excited to participate in Food Truck Knight and support the exceptional efforts of the WVC Foundation,” said Jessica Clay, Senior Manager of Community Impact and Communications at Numerica Credit Union. “The Foundation’s dedication to providing educational opportunities and fostering student success is truly inspiring, and we are proud to support their mission in partnership with our community.
The free-to-attend event will have no shortage of entertainment and activities, including a dunk tank featuring local celebrities, live music from Wenatchee High School Mariachi and Esencia Privada, a beer garden, raffle, and more. Additionally, Numerica Credit Union is set to provide free ice cream vouchers to the first 150 children 12 and under who visit their booth.
Net proceeds from this annual event go toward supporting WVC Foundation’s mission of providing equitable access to education and investing in student success through philanthropy.
“We’re excited to welcome the community back to the WVC campus to enjoy local food trucks and more while supporting WVC students,” said WVC Foundation development director Lupe Brito. “This event is a foundation fundraiser that supports our mission and couldn’t be possible without the generous support of our sponsors.”
