WVC Knights invite community to meet Athletic Director Greg Sparling on Jan. 17

Portrait of Greg SparlingThe Wenatchee Valley College Knights are excited to invite the community to a meet and greet with new Athletic Director Greg Sparling on Saturday, Jan. 17. The event will include men’s and women’s basketball games and a community social.
 

Knights men’s basketball will take on Walla Walla Community College at 2 p.m., with an introduction of Sparling during halftime. The Knights women’s basketball game starts at 4 p.m., with a second introduction of Sparling during halftime.  

After the introduction of Sparling at the men's game halftime, join the Knights for a community social in VIP Room 4024 in Smith Gym. Enjoy refreshments provided by the Wenatchee Valley Tech Center Culinary Arts Program and beverages from Weinstein Beverage Co. / Pepsi-Cola of Wenatchee. 

Special tributes during this event include colors presented by American Legion Post 10 at the start of the women’s game, and the National Anthem performed by veteran Christie Robinson of American Legion Post 10. 

Wenatchee Valley College faculty, staff, and students receive free admission to the games.
