Piatigorsky Foundation fall concert to take place Oct. 1

The Piatigorsky Foundation’s fall concert is set for Wednesday, Oct. 1 at the Grove Recital Hall in Wenatchee Valley College's Music and Art Center (MAC), 1500 Fifth St., Wenatchee.
A wine reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by a concert by solo pianist, Richard Dowling, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. This event is free to the public, with first come, first served seating. Parking during the event is free. The concert is sponsored by The Woods Family.
"We are thrilled to host the community for another evening of world-class music, thanks to the Woods Family,” said WVC Foundation executive director Rachel Evey. “The Piatigorsky Foundation musicians are always heartfelt and engaging."
Richard Dowling appears regularly across America in solo recitals, at chamber music and jazz/ragtime festivals, and as a guest soloist with orchestra.
In addition to his career as a concert pianist, Mr. Dowling has produced critical performing editions of piano and chamber works for major music publishing companies. He has been a Piatigorsky Foundation artist roster member since 1994. With the Piatigorsky Foundation he has performed nearly 1,200 recitals across 23 states, both as a soloist and in collaboration with other Piatigorsky Artists.
