Dates To Remember

Important Dates for financial aid:

Census Date:  10th Day of the quarter
The date at which your enrollment level for financial aid purposes is set.  We will adjust your award to reflect the enrollment status on this date.  Adjustments to enrollment that occur after disbursement of funds and prior to the census date will result in adjustments to your award.

March 15, 2017
Priority Deadline Date: Complete the FAFSA by March 15th, 2017 for priority consideration for the 2017 2018 year.  You can complete your FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  You may still apply after this deadline, but funding will be limited.  Check with our office for more information.  Use your 2015 income information for the 2017-2018 FAFSA.  Please note that if you filed a 2016-2017 FAFSA,  this will be the same income information.

Tuition Due: Spring quarter tuition is due.  We will be applying financial aid beginning Wednesday, March 29th.  However, if your financial aid is not awarded, not in an open status, or is blocked for any reason, you will need to cover your own tuition.  You can speak with the cashier's office about a payment plan.  It is your responsibility to check your financial aid status and to make sure your tuition is covered. .  You can visit the Financial Aid Management (FAM) Student Portal to view your financial aid information.

Financial Aid Applied to Tuition/Fees:  We begin applying financial aid to Spring charges.  However, if your financial aid is not awarded, not in an open status, or is blocked for any reason, you will need to cover your own tuition.  You can speak with the cashier's office about a payment plan.  It is your responsibility to check your financial aid status and to make sure your tuition is covered.   You can visit the Financial Aid Management (FAM) Student Portal to view your financial aid information.  If you plan on being enrolled less than fulltime (12 credits), let us know so we can adjust your aid.  Otherwise, your aid will not be adjusted until after the 10th day and your aid will be delayed until then.  Your classes will not be dropped as long as your aid is in an open status.
